PPT+ Indiana 2017 Update

Update to PPT+ Indiana 2017

Updates to PPT+ programs are, unless otherwise noted, ‘all-inclusive’. That is, we only have a single update file posted, and that update includes all updates prior to it for the current year program. Additionally, when we post an update, we also update the full program install, as well. So, if you’ve just downloaded the current full program install, there’s no need for the current update, because you already have it.

Update details (things added or corrected) by version below:

Version 17.04.0504
• NOTE: The Randolph County Assessor has updated their mailing address.  The new address is “100 S Main St, Rm 106, Winchester, In 47394”.  (Please update this manually in your PPT+ program by selecting “Maintain Assessor Database” from the Tools menu.)
• Added the NAME of the assessor to the assessor info on the prebuilt client letter.
• Corrected error(s) “pptin17.dbc does not exist”, “alias EXEMPT not found”, etc. when attempting to ‘export’.  (likewise, updated the ‘import’ process as well, as the errors went both directions.)
• If <$20k exemption applies and exempt amount is zero, changed forms 102 and 103 to print a “0” instead of “N/A”.
• Line numbers on Form 103-ERA, page 2, pool 4 were incorrect (dates were correct, but line numbers were not).

Version 17.03.0407
• NOTE: The Marion County Assessor has updated their mailing address.  The new address is “PO Box 7015, Indianapolis, In 46207-7015”.  (Please update this manually in your PPT+ program by selecting “Maintain Assessor Database” from the Tools menu.)
• Corrected an error “unknown member txtLINE” when using Form 103-O Schedule 2.
• Added an error trap in data conversion to remedy “variable ‘exempt’ not found” error.  (This occurred if converting from 2016 data that had not loaded all 2016 updates.)
• Removed the ‘exemption certification’ button from the Process Returns screen (Notarized ‘exemption certification’ is no longer necessary in 2017 to claim the exemption).

Version 17.02.0307
• Interim build

Version 17.01.0203
• Initial program release.
